About Tree Propagation

Genetic Improvement

Good genetics are the base of our business model, and they can only be preserved and improved through the utilization of advanced propagation methods.

Clonal Propagation

Clonal Propagation

We can clonally reproduce our best varieties through propagation methods adapted to each species: tissue culture, rooted cuttings and grafting.

Our ongoing research programs have been yielding excellent results in the last few years in terms of the quality of the plants that we produce, and breakthroughs in new propagation technologies for the different species we deal with.

Clonal propagation assures uniform, dependable performance in the fields and allows for precision forestry practices.

Sexual Reproduction

Sexual ReproductionThe combination of preemergent and post-emergent herbicides allows us to keep a weed free environment for the planted trees. This is particularly important during the first years of development of the trees. Weeds compete with the trees for nutrients and water, and they also host pests and diseases that can be easily transmitted to the trees if there is direct leaf contact.
